Waterford Wetland Survey 2015
During May field surveys were undertaken on a range of sites as part of the Waterford Wetland Survey. Field work turned up some internationally and nationally important wetlands and some interesting fauna and flora finds on a wide range of wetlands habitats in the county.

Extensive reedswamp communities around Belle Lake.

Kilmacleague Created wetland near Tramore Back strand....

.... a habitat for the rare Inula crithmoides.

Reedswamp, tall herb swamp and marsh communities at Norrisland on the banks of the Blackwater River SAC.

Transition mire at Glennaglogh.

Mountain blanket at Moanyarha Bog located in the North Comeragh Mountains.

Constructed wetlands at Dunhill.

Large flood plain wetland, with reedswamp and alluvial woodland at Parkdotia, on the southern banks of the River Bride.
